Hi everyone,
I'm looking into reading data from Google Spreadsheets, and found a couple of articles showing how this can be achieved.
(http://beyondrelational.com/modules/24/syndicated/398/Posts/15475/ssis-how-to-load-data-into-sql-table-from-google-spreadsheets.aspx AND http://sqldeveloperramblings.blogspot.ca/2010/06/ssis-google-spreadsheets-data-source.html)
However Google removed basic authentication recently, making these articles quite less useful in the process.
I researched a online and found that we need to use Google.Apis.Auth.OAuth2 dll for authentication.
Has anyone does this on SQL Server 2008 R2, (BIDS 2008)?
Thanks
Jon

Hi Everyone,
I am intereted in this subject too. I found many examples of .NET applications using Google Spreadsheet but was unable to make them work with BIDS 2008.
Thanks.

Never tried, but if they're using OAuth, you should have success (once you get past all the security hurdles) using a Script Component Source in a data flow.
If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.
