I am running SSIS version 11 and am attempting to pull data from an ODBC data source that connects to a Universe database. It works fine until I add the where clause
SELECT
A04.LOCK_DATE as BORROWER_LOCK_DATE
,A04.INTERVIEWER_NAME as LOAN_OFFICER_NAME
From
APPLICATION04 A04
Where
A04.LOCK_DATE >= CURDATE()
This is the error I am getting:
Error at Data Flow Task [ODBC Source [2]]: Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) error occurred. state: 'HY000'. Native Error Code: 0. [IBM][UVODBC][1400828]Error ID: 29 Severity: ERROR Facility: FPSRVERR - Line 7, column 26 (around ")"): Syntax error.
Does anyone see anything wrong with my syntax?

It looks like the driver or universe database is complaining about the closing ")" in the query.
Do you need to terminate with semi-colon in universe?
Is CURDATE() the right function, I"ve found a CURRENT_DATE function in the documentation but not a CURDATE()?

Thanks for the reply. I tried terminating with a semicolon. I also just tried CURRENT_DATE and received an error that the column doesn't exist.

Wish I could be more help, but I don't know anything about Universe DB. I just looked at the documentation, http://www.adbk.se/manuals/uv10/uvdoc/UniVerse/Sqlref.pdf, to try to provide some help. Since the source of the error is the driver/DB and not SSIS, I can't be of anymore help.
The only other suggestion I might have is to do a quick .NET application that connects and tries to run the query and see if you can get the same error.
