Hi guys,
Very new to this, so please bare with me if I dont ask correctly.
Basically, Id like to setup a Master Target relationship with One master running a Backup job against multiple Targets.
Each Target has a different SQL Agent domain account. Domain\%Machinename_SV
My questions is, to setup the Master Target relationship and have one "Master" backup job going to all target, do I need to change the Agent Service account on all targets to one which matches the master? Or is there another way?
Sorry if it doesnt make sense, new and learning 🙂

During the setup you will have an option (tick box) = Create new login if necessary and assign it rights to the MSX. Tick that, if that is against your policies then untick it and then click next and a message will popup stating :
"You must ensure that the SQL Server Agent startup accounts have rights to the master server."
Fulfil the above quote and you should be ok.
