Will disabling TCP Chimney Offload option can resolve the below error?
A transport-level error has occurred when sending the request to the server. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)
I have been getting the above error intermittently.

What OS are you running? Why do you think this is the cause of your issue?

The error message that you are providing is very non-specific and probably warrants a network capture to determine what is occurring within the wider context of your network. Have you discussed with your internal network group/person to see if there is a bad switch or patch cable? Faulty NIC drivers can also cause intermittent issues but at this point we are chasing ghosts in your wires without some much more specific information.
What I need to assist:
Hardware that SQL is on (HP, IBM, Dell, etc) and what model
Do you have latest NIC drivers
Between problem server and SQL what networking gear is involved (manufacturer and model) and what speeds
Do you see network errors in the network status (look at perfmon for Packets Received Errors and Packets Outbound Errors on both SQL and remote server)
Any virtualization software involved and versions
Try and narrow your scope down and I can see if I can't point you in a direction to look. Hope I can offer some help.
