There seems to be a lot more getting through than in the past.
Is anything being done to tackle it?
If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

Yeah, they have been implementing a filter. It was working for a while, but now it seems to be getting worse again.

Some changes with our hosting provider's firewall broke the filter - there should be a new version going in this week, hopefully.

Hi Dave, did this happen? If so, it could do with some further refinement, I believe.

If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

The first new version went in on Friday afternoon UK time.

There's a couple of things that should help with refinement - we're teaching it false positives and negatives, so it should get better at recognising the spam we get here over time. We should also be changing the backend slightly so we can approve false positives faster.

I actually came into the "Anything that is NOT about SQL!" forum to ask this question but think it's appropriate here....

How do you report spam?

"I cant stress enough the importance of switching from a sequential files mindset to set-based thinking. After you make the switch, you can spend your time tuning and optimizing your queries instead of maintaining lengthy, poor-performing code."

Unfortunate for me there is not a "Remove this comment" button.
