Hide Group 1 footer based on count of rows in Group 2 header

  • I have a report that has two groupings. I want the group 1 footer to display if the count of rows in the Group 2 header are greater than 1. The Group 1 footer is a subreport.

In the screenshot attached, the first Group 1 record is for "Work Tmkpr ATA." He has one Group 2 record for "Resp Tmkpr RMA." The second record for Group 1 is for "Work Tmkpr JPF." He has three records for Group 2, "Resp Tmkpr JF," "Resp Tmkpr KFR" and "Resp Tmkpr DDS."

Since the first record for Group 1 only has one Group 2 record I do not want it to display the subreport in the Group 1 Footer as it is redundant (the group 1 footer is highlighted in yellow). But the second record for Group 1 has three Group 2 records, so I want the Group 1 Footer to recap the totals from the Group 2 records.

The footer is working correctly as far as displaying the totals but I cannot get the visibility property to work correctly and not display the group footer 1 for the first record.
