Display expression or an indicator in the same cell based on condition

  • Hi,

I am working on a report where I have to display an Indicator based on a value. So I inserted an indicator in the cell and I have set the color of the indicator. My version is 2008 R2.

Eg: If Fields!Score.Value is between 0 and 50 Then "RED"

If Score is between 51 and 100 then "Green"

But I have a situation where Score = "n/a" . In this scenario I want to display "n/a" in the same cell instead of the indicator

    ScoreIndicator

    67:sick:

    N/A N/A

All your help would be greatly appreciated.

    TIA!

  • You could set the indicator to not visible when the value is N/A

  • Thank you for the response!

I tried hiding the indicator when value is "n/a" , but wasn't able to display the text "n/a" then.

So the way I made it work is ,

    1. add 3 images - red , green and N/A to the report

    2. then drag and drop Image into the textbox where I want the indicator

    3. In the image properties , set the image source as Embedded and the set the image properties based on the condition.
