A few weeks ago we had an issue with Deadlocked Schedulers, which was caused by all the worker threads on the server being exhausted. I have been monitoring the number of threads in use since then, however I'm just wondering if it's possible to see, for example, if a specific query is consuming a large number of threads at that moment?
Generally the number of worker threads in use seems to be around 150-350, however there are frequent occasions where it will suddenly jump up by around 400. I'm just trying to discover what's causing it and whether it's a specific query etc.
Any thoughts?
