I have configured database mail in sql 2012 enterprise edition(64bit) on windows server 2008R2(64bit) which is not showing any error but it shows in
select * from msdb.dbo.sysmail_faileditems .
I tried it on yahoo mail.
The configuration of smtp server is also done which I can access through telnet.but not able to send-receive any mails or even test mail in ssms.
What is missing here.
Do u require to configure pop3 mail or exchange server is needed.

ya I did go through the same article but still it did not work.
