Formatting Group Lines and Labels question

  • 1. Able to create a line at bottom of Group Title to visually delimit a group but line only appears in 1st column of data.

How can I extend the line for the entire group row?

See attached jpg image file. Current group line (black) under Prepaid Expenses. Would like to extend line like red line as shown.

    2. Would like to move subtotal label "Total of Prepaid Expenses" more to the right to be closer to actual numeric totals. Company Number field is in the way.

Is there a method to merge the cells for this label just for subtotal label cells and leave the Company Number data cells alone?

Subtotal label would occupy cell/space show in blue but just for the subtotal line.

    3. Subtotal Label is using expression: = "Total of" +" "+(Fields!Header_Title.Value) . Want to change it so that is references the associated Company Number for that subtotal.

    Example:

    Company 001 detail record

    Company 001 detail record

Total of Prepaid Expenses for Company 001 Subtotal $ amount for Company 1

    Company 002 detail record

    Company 002 detail record

Total of Prepaid Expenses for Company 002 Subtotal $ amount for Company 2

    4. If I have 4 columns/cells that I want to format, for example change format to Currency. Right now I am right clicking on each cell and editing the Text Box Properties and editing the formatting. There has to be a better way to change the properties of multiple cells at the same time.

What is the best method to change the format or properties for a group of text boxes/cells at once?

    Thanks.
