Hi All,
I am trying to get a 2014 availability group listener working in Azure following this guide:

I got it kind of working (Not from inside my network) but found it was working externally as within 20mins I was getting external parties trying to log into my SQL instance.
My question is is there another way to get the listener working without the endpoint being externally facing? I have the app server and the db servers inside Azure so it seems crazy to be going external for communication between the two let alone the security concerns.
Any help is appreciated 🙂
