SSRS Indicator - Top 10

    I'm trying to build an indicator within SSRS which identifies whether an item is in the top 10 this month in comparison to the top 10 a year ago. I have written the SQL code to extract the top 10 for this month but I'm struggling to get the code to run within SSRS. My aim is to build an indicator that effectively does a look up on the item name to identify whether the report is the same in both time periods and if it is have a green indicator if not red.

    Forgive me if this doesn't make sense, I am very new to SSRS so still learning.

    It appears I may have found a solution by using option(recompile) at the end of my procedure 🙂 I'm not entirely sure why this works but it does so I will go along with it!
