We are not using linked server much in our environment, occassionally we do a temp linked server to do some adhoc query or import some data. For all other data load, or ETL we are using SSIS. Mostly data source/destination are between SQL servers and Oralce.
I prefer SSIS vs linked server.

Any pro and cons comparing linked server vs ssis, any security issue we should consider for linked server? In which situation link server is in most advantage to use comparing with other approach?

SSIS is much more efficient.
As I find SSIS fiddly to work with, I sometimes start development with linked servers and then move to SSIS once I have the correct logic.
