Potentially dim question but seriously annoying issue.
I'm calling sqlwb from a batch file. (Ultimately I will have a bunch of batches with parameters so I can just double click to open up SSMS against x server) but for now ...
My cmd sqlwb.exe runs @ the command line, but double clicking the same cmd within a batch file just leads to a momentary black cmd screen, then the window closes and nothing occurs.
If I whack a pause in, it makes no difference.
No sqlwb tasks appear in the task manager.
What is the difference between running a working cmd @ cmd line & the same cmd that fails, in a batch?
