Hey,

I have a question on db backups

How can we know if a database is available when the backups are running ? Do backups affect the availability of the database ?

Please let me know

Backups do not affect the availability of the database. You can still connect to the database and run transactions.

Login to the database and run a query. That is the easiest way to show the backup does not take your database down while it is running.
