I recently stood up a QA environment to basically mirror our development environment. I have reporting services installed and configured, but now I need to copy the dev environment to the qa environment. The dev environment gets backed up every night. Is my task as simple as restoring QADB.ReportServer and QADB.ReportServerTempDB from the dev backups or is there configuration stuff hidden in the data that will have to be addressed due to being on the different server?
I've already found tons of articles and blog posts about MOVING an environment. I don't want to move it. I need to copy it.

As far as SSRS goes, copying is the same as moving. You will need to configure SSRS in your QA environment, including setting up the RS databases. MAKE SURE you backup the encryption keys in both environments. then restore the databases from dev over the QA databases, after that you need to fix the encryption keys so you are using the right one. See this URL, the process is the same for 2008 as for 2005.
