Not sure where to start this one so here it goes.
I am looking to start the process of creating an organization wide reporting strategy. I believe the elements would include a review of current reporting practices (mostly reactionary), creating a data governance policy, reporting systems review and a data quality review. I think interviews with departments and groups would be the best option to understand the reporting requirements but I am open to suggestions.
Has anyone gone through this process? If so, what elements did your organization include and how did you go about the process.
Any advice/resources are greatly appreciated.
