Hi guys,
first of all merry Christams.

Is there an easy way to create a shapefile for SSrS 2008 R2 Map compnent? Which one is the best and simple open source program for edit a shapefile? Somenone have a tutorial?

Do you really need to create your own shapefiles - there are plenty of freely availble ones out there and utilities to help you import them into table in SQL. I used tools from Morten Nielsons SharpGIS website to create the databases I needed for city based map reporting.

There are some tutorials around from technet as well for basic map reporting
