Hi.
what are the points need to ask vendor for database and DBA related points?
1. Database design and performance?
2. Database administration & different type of documents from vendor?

What does the vendor in this case supply? Hardware? DBA services? 3rd party App?
I have a lot of experience supporting 3rd Party apps with SQL hosted databases. Some vendors will only install their database and do what is needed to make their application function, leaving backups, other maintenance, configuration and performance tuning to the customer, while some offer full DBA assistance if you ask for it. I will ask a vendor for any documentation they have on how they recommend their database and the SQL Instance/server hosting it should be configured and maintained, but to tell the truth, often times I don't get very much.
