Any chance to change authentication mode via registry

    Hi All,

    Can you please advise.. Do we have chance to change authentication mode via registry....

    You probably can, but why would you? Don't you have access to the instance?

    If you script changing the authentication mode within SSMS you see the "xp_instance_regwrite" is called. So the change is done in the registry. That means you can also change this directly in the registry.
