Not able to connect Integration Services in my server to local system(Development system) SQL Server Management Studio. I think this can be avoided by ensuring that users have the required DCOM permissions in the server,
Can u please tell me any one wt is the exact problem And why we cant connect to the integration server
And once we connect to the integration server the packeges should be created but the tabs will not be opend that mence the Control flow and the Data flow and Package explorer these tabs could not opend ,it will show the error like

Hi,

I remembered a similar experience. You need to be sure that the Integration Services Service (I know it sounds redundant) is installed and enabled in the server. This is the first step. If this is the case you should be able to save the packages in the msdb from the BIDS.
Second issue, you can only connect to the Integration Server from the Management Studio with Windows Authentication.

I wrote a post with some useful T-SQL commands, maybe it can help you: Manage packages stored in the MSDB database with T-SQL
