I've only used sql2000 and have managed to get DTS tasks to do all the weird and wonderful stuff that comes up. I've used the ActiveX task alot to include stuff within a DB task that often has nothing to do with databases as such, but is part of a data process none the less.
I have installed 2008 and I am playing with it and getting mostly confused =)
I was taking a look at the Visual Studio esque SSIS tool and was wondering if there is anything similar to get some script into your task in 2008..?
