in our production server one of the job is failing at step-3 due to account has been locked.
the job will runs every one hour and daily the job fails one or two times with above error.

and the above step run with Proxy account, which was configured in SQL Agent service with CMD and IS
same proxy is used to run 4 other steps for different jobs.

job calls SSIS Package package deployed in Filesystem, which is located in remote server

Have you verified that the password used for the proxy account has not been changed in Active Directory?

No i am not sure, should it same password for proxy account and AD account ?

and to be clear, before proxy account we need to create Credential. while creating credential we need to select windows acount, which will ask password and confirm password. so we need to give new password. here my quesson is.. shall we give same password with windows acount ?

after that we need to map the Credential to Proxy acount in the SQL Agent service
while creating the New Proxy.
