I have restored a database on prod server from 2000 server to 2008R2. It's in simple recovery mode. The log started growing right after the restore process got finished. When I checked the dbcc opentran on the database, I got a spid number as 38s. I cannot see this spid either in sp_who or sp_who2 and I cannot kill it. It's a prod server. I cannot do a server restart. Any suggestions??

What is the log_reuse_wait_desc in sys.databases?
