I hope I have this in the proper place. Has anyone used the SQL Server encryption tools in a product named DBDefence? I prefer the SQL Server native encryption, but right now that is not an option for us.

Thanks in advanced for you assistance.

I've not personally used it as I prefer native solutions as well. However, the company has been around forever with the xp_crypt production. That might be more of a name recognition for folks who have used their solutions.

You should be able to get a list of references from the company to call and discuss their experience and how they've used the product. That's always an option.
