Hey y'all
Well I guess the title says it all. I need to create a ETL package for a server with SQL 2008 R2 but I have Visual Studio 2010 on my computer. I had already started the package when I realized this potential mistake of mine. Has anyone tried the, am I going to hit a wall when it comes to deploy the package?
Have a nice day y'all

AFAIK you cannot use SSIS with VS2010 (this is documented on MS site and connect items).
Install and use BIDS from the SQL Server 2008 R2 media.
Far away is close at hand in the images of elsewhere.

Basically, as said above, you don't. You use VS 2k8 for SQL 2k8 and 2k5 for 2k5. 2010 is for SQL 2012.
