Getting data into a SQL server database can take many routes.
You could use web pages, SSIS, BCP, Bulk insert for example. Is the data in text files (for example)
Can you give us any more information to help us to help you?

I can't help you out with pentaho as I don't use the product myself. Their support website is here, so they may be able to offer you more. If there are any more SQL server based questions please come back and ask them.
