Hi,

Job is taking much time to execute, when i check the Wait type it shows 'Sleep_Task' and there is no blocking in the server.

could you please provide the sleep_task trouble shooting steps

it can, but for better help you need to tell following things.

1) why/how do you think it is taking longer time ? how much time does it take regularly.
2) it is frequantly or randomly ? or at any specfic time ?
3) what does it contain ? Stored proc / query ? if yes have you look into it ?
