Hi,

Im new with SQL, please help me on how to trouble shoot this error

"The replication agent encountered an error and is set to restart within the job step retry interval. See the previous step history message or replication monitor for more information"

Im using SQL server 2005.

You need to enable your agents for logging and see what error is logged.

Use this kb article to see what the failure is.
When the agent fails you may also want to run profiler to see what is causing the problem.
