We have database in SQL SERVER 2008.We have 393GB memory on that machine.Today we had lots of performance issues .SQL SERVER was very slow a couple times(each time 5-30 minutes). When I checked the Buffer lacthes was spiking around outage time.I could not find any error(time out) in sql server log.I know that Bhffer latch happens, when proccesses try to updated the same page? How can I find what is causing the buffer latch? How can I fix it?

Thanks
