HI,

We have Sql server 2005 cluster running on WIn 2003
Can any one tell me the process and steps how to add Drive (san drive ) in Sql cluster dependency.
steps:
1)Take Sql services offline
2)right click sqlgroup-sql services---proprties----depedency----added required drive.
3)bring sql serivces online.

Please confirm whether the above steps correct.
Do we need to take sql offline before adding the drive to Sql dependency or
Is it enough to restart the Sql services after the Drive added in Sql dependency.

you'll need to offline the SQL Server clustered service resource, then add the dependency, the bring the resource online.

Ensure you add the stoarge to all required cluster nodes and add the drive a s clustred resource first.
