Hi everyone,

I need some pointers with my problem. I have a financial application cube in SSAS 2008 R2.
My client needs to store comments in cell values to highlight this information for another user using the cube.

Can this be done please?

Yes, please take a look at SSAS writeback functionality. Please take a look at this MSDN article for some basic setup:

Hi Scott,

The method you presented is to change measure group values (numeric values). In my case I need to input String comments, possibly using Dimension Writeback..

Do you try this before?
