I have about 300 DTS packages that need to be moved to a 2008 R2 environment.
While some of these are pretty straight forward and can be converted to simple SSIS packages, I have some that are rather complex to include quite a few with ActiveX Scripts.
Is it functional to use the DTS runtime under 2008 R2 to execute these packages from the scheduled jobs?
How can I incorporate Powershell scripts as replacements (if I can) for tose with ActiveX and VB Scripts
I appreciate any assistance with this topic.
