I've been waiting patiently for this training kit coming out for months now, expectantly waiting for it's arrival end of November. Now i find out it's being delayed. When exactly is the training kit being made available to us I wonder ?
I'm trying desperately to make a start on some self-study and want to make a proper start soon.

I pre-ordered
Training Kit (Exam 70-461): Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012
, right now the delivery estimate is Wednesday December 12, 2012. They've changed the date several times now, so I'll believe it when I have the book in my hands
I've been reading
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 T-SQL Fundamentals
and
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 High-Performance T-SQL Using Window Functions
to get a head start.
KatieAndEmil also created an excellent tutorial.

I speculate that the delay is due to all the errors found in the 70-462 book that was released in July. There are so many errors in this book it is almost worthless.
Here is the list of errors:
http://oreilly.com/catalog/errata.csp?isbn=0790145345134
If it takes longer for them to release the 70-461 book without all the errors, I think the delay is worth the end result of trustworthy information.

My 463 book is also delayed. It's release date was Nov 1, but my estimated ship date is the 22 Dec. At least I have the 462 book to read in the meantime.

Why is this book $900? It was around $50 before, I was not fast enough to buy.
Available from these sellers.
1 new from $900.00

That must be some mistake somewhere, because although the book probably is pretty good, it won't be worth $900

This book is being reprinted in January 2013 due to the chapters and page numbers being out-of-order, but you can buy the e-book today for $55.99

That is great! Jan 2013 is tomorrow! Price again $50!?
Or more like Jan 31, 2013?
I am sure it is a very good book, but $900 is a bit steep for me.
Thanks.
