Hi Friends
I have try to configure link server from SQL 2012 to SQL 2000, when i realize its not supported using the native client 11.0.
so i have installed the native cliend 10.0 (SQL 2008) and i got this error :
The OLE DB provider "SQLNCLI10" for linked server "linkservername" supplied inconsistent metadata for a column. The column "GatewayID" (compile-time ordinal 1) of object ""Billingdb"."dbo"."lkGateway"" was reported to have a "Incomplete schema-error logic." of 0 at compile time and 0 at run time.
can any one know how can i solved this issue OR how i can connect from SQL 2012 to SQL 200
