Hi Experts,
In one of my Stage server I am not able to open up the SQL Server Configuration Manager I am getting the below error as shown in the screen shot attached. Please let me know where it went wrong.

what about management studio connection?
is Windows Management Instrumentation service running?

Hi Thank you for the reply, yes it is running. actually I am new to this environment (where I am working), there is a stage server which is in cluster, but thing is that there is only one node and the SQL Server is installed on this I was trying to configure DB-Mail so that I can get alerts through this but after configuring the DB-mail the SQL agent need to get restart. so, I thought of doing it from SQL Server Configuration manager. But I was not able to do so because I was getting this error.
My environment is Windows 2003 Enterprise edition and SQL Server is 2005 enterprise edition both or on 64 bit. Please let me know where It went wrong.

alternatively restart the agent using services.msc
check the sql error log and windows security log and post the errors if you found any after you access configuration manager.
