I have attached a document from one of our outside developers.
The project is that they need to connect to a IBM (Maximo) DB (push and pull) to get info need for our purchase order system.
I have never worked with a Pervasive DB before.
In looking at the attached doc I have some questions:
Are the 'staging tables' needed?
Can't they link directly on both sides?
Assuming there is a pipe between the two sites, can I add a linked server? Or no because it's not SQL?
Thoughts, comments, ideas welcomed!
