  • Hi Jay,

I will take you step by step.

Step 1: Check Reporting Services Configuration

    1. Click on Start -> All Programs -> navigate to your Microsoft Sql Server XXXX program group -> open it -> Configuration Tools -> Reporting Services Configuration Manager

    2. Login to your local configuration server instance in your workstation (the screen should looks like the one below)

    3. Verify the following parameters: Your workstation name as known by reporting services, and the Web Services virtual directory as shown below (write down those names)

  • Hi Jay,

That's correct, Report Manager ask your credentials, you should be able to reach it after login, its screen looks like the one below:

If you can't get the Report Manager let us know (NOTE: you should be able to see the Properties and Site Settings; if you can't see them, we have to focus into Roles assignments.

Once you are able to see the Report Manager you can also login to the Report Server Services by entering http://JAY-HP/ReportServer, its screen is similar to the one below.

You have to enter the Report Server Services url at BIDS by right-clicking on the Solution name and selecting properties, the properties form looks like the one below:

You should make sure the Target URL is the one corresponding with the Report Server Services.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hope this helps,
