Thanks for the post. I've attended one of the SQL Saturdays, as well (in Columbia, SC in early 2011). It was a great experience! There is one coming to Atlanta next month, and I cannot wait to go!

Thanks for reading the article. Atlanta is a little far for for me, but i hear there is one in Pensacola, FL every year but it was a couple of months ago. So i will have to wait till next year. Where are you traveling from for the Atlanta event.

I had a great experience at the New York City SQL Saturday last winter.
Everything was well organized and the speakers did a great job.
I just wish there were more SQLSaturdays closer to the Northeast coast.
Although having a large event gives a event goers a chance to decide which speaker they like.
I think having mini-SQL Saturdays would be a good idea, if it is not already thought of.
