While I am trying to connect to a SQL Azure database from SSMS of 2008 R2, I am getting the below error

A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The specified network name is no longer available.) (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 64)

I tried the following options,
1. Cancelled the server explorer pop-up and clicked on new query and entered the FQDN servername - SQL authentication - Loginname( with and without @servername) - clicked options and entered the default database name.
2. Pinged the server name and got the IP which ensure that domain name is resolving
3. Able to telnet to the port 1433 for both the servername and IP.

Kindly help. Thanks in advance.
