i am creating one SSAS Cube with Data source and Data source view (database which is in database engine)
and retrieving data from Cube using MDX query's/excel
and update the cube using SSIS package or proactive caching

is it Data warehousing ?

please help me i am in confusing mode

in my system
SQL SERVER 2008(Enterprise editon)
Visual studio 2008(9.0 version)

It sounds as if you don't yet have a framework. I would suggest that you start with "The Data Warehouse Toolkit" by Ralph Kimball for a good overview. "The Microsoft Data Warehouse Toolkit" would be another good suggestion for a beginning overview.
