I'm trying to get a better understanding about Disk Space Allocations in SQL Server (2008). In specific, my question is about the values displayed between the Database...Properties Tab & Tasks...Shrink File...Shrink File (DAT file) Tab.
What is the difference between SPACE AVAILABLE (Properties Tab) & AVAILABLE FREE SPACE (Shrink File Tab)? Could somebody explain in detail? See below...
