Masking Parameter prompts

  • hi

I have a report set up in SQL 2005 Reporting Services that is handling confidential information.

One of the input parameters for this report contains a key like a password is there any way to mask the input text box with some * like chars

I am trying to access it through Internet Explorer

    regards

  • Hi...John..

The only way I guess to solve this issue is to make default parameters in Reporting Services as invisible by setting the property -- Prompt Parameters to False..and creating your own custom parameter with the help of any C# / VB.NET code...:)

    This may help..u..

Please let me knw..if this is the soln u looking for...

    Thanks alot,

    Niraj
