Why is it that when I am on my desktop client and click on sql job properties, I get a screen for a new sql job? However, when I go to the actual box or rdp into the sql server sql agent job properties, I get the actual properties? Any idea what i'm missing on my destop client vs. the actual box?

I have a similar one: when I right click sproc --> Script Stored Procedure as --> ALTER TO -->... it always gives me CREATE TO....:angry: not sure what's wrong.

I installed sp2 on my desktop, using the client, I can now view the properties...

SP2 fixed alot of bugs like this. It has fixed numerous problems in our environment when it comes to properties windows and dialog boxes.
