Sql Server 2005 Backup ,restore

  • Hi all,

    I want to import database table in Sql server 2005.

    how can I import data in tables with my schema not dbo.

  • What are you importing from? A flat file, a table from another database? From another server? Need more detail to truly be of help.

  • open the sql server's ssms and connect to the server, right click on the database which u want to take backup, then go to task and select backup option, select the database and backup type as full.select the destination drive to store the backup...in options below to the general. select options in that overwrite media. select first two and comeback to general and click on ok then a message will come ur backup is done successfully............................ hope it will help full to u..............:-)

  • You can use Import/Export wizard where you need to specify the Source/Destination.Its quite simple to use it.

    It can also be transferred using SSIS Package where you need to specify to Source/Destination.
