DataSet Properties - Select Query Type as a "Table" will work or not?

  Hi All,

  I want to select Query type as a "Table" instead of "Text" in DataSet properties.

  When I select "Table" no dropdown is displayed to select the table, which is displayed incase of storedprocedures.

  Is this is supported in SSRS? If not, why it has been there?

  Please tell me.

  FYI.... I am just doing R&D or practice or homework or whatever.:-)
