Proxy Authentication Conundrum - I have an SSIS package running as job on a server using a proxy with creds. It consumes a file on a share. Its been running fine for months. This morning it failed. The developer of the SSIS tried running it manually with the proxy in place, but it still failed (no security passwords had been changed).
The way to get it working again was to log into the sql server via remote console (with the developer's AD login, remove the proxy, and run the job manually.
WHAT IS WEIRD: After a successful run, we set the proxy back in place and the package resumed working normally under any condition from any workstation.
