error 601 in Snapshot Agent (SQL Server 2005)

  transactional replication

  Snapshot Agent on all 3 publications producing the 601 error ("Could not continue to scan with nolock due to data movement")

  DBCC CheckDB on both distribution database and replicated databases get absolute no errors.

  tried to delete publication - no result because of the same error 601.

  Any help is greatly appreciated
