Thanks for this easy question because there are very few modifications in the syntax of CREATE TYPE since its appearance with SQL Server 2005.

I have begun to use SQL Server with SQL Server 6.5 full included in the upgrade of my VB/C++ 5.0 towards the Entreprise Edition around 1998. I was pleased to see the 1st SQL Server 2005 Express ( and VB/VC# Visual Studio ) , I used it and I begun to post on the MSDN forums . On the beginning , it was only to get information about problems I was facing , afterwards , to share my experience and to try to help the original posters. And CREATE TYPE was the topic of some of my posts and it is why I wrote "easy question".

Now , even if I am appearing always on forums , my main source of information is the QOD/articles and forums of SQL Server Central. So thank you very much for all people who replied to me and helped to rectify my errors.
