• Data Advantage Group’s MetaCenter
• Adaptive’s Metadata manager
• Diaku’s Axon
• Global IDs Data Profiling Suite
• Informatica’s Metadata Management tool
• Infolibrarian
We are about a year into deploying our Enterprise Data Warehouse for a large hospital and as one of the DB Architects on the team I have finally been heard. The upper management is finally getting the drift of what I have been telling them for a year, we need to manage our metadata in a central place, not in separate spreadsheets and word docs on hundreds of individual SharePoint project or workspace sites.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with any of the tools and what the PROs and CONs between them were. I am in the process of coming up with what expectations we would want from a tool and it doesn't seem like there are many reviews out there.
The EDW is on a SQL server but several sources are from other systems. That is why I posted this question here.
